Object Detection

When there is no train at the platform the scanning laser module (SLM) will scan the platform sides. If an object falls on the track, the distance and angle of the laser is altered.

When a train arrives the laser can follow the movement of the train along the track within range of the scanner.

Airplane Loading/Docking

The laser scanning module (SLM) is used to profile the nose of an aeroplane, helping to identify the type of aircraft being docked. This enables identification of where to stop the plane in order to align the exit doors in the correct place for ground services.
